So, due to the comment at the end of my last post, I thought I would throw this on too. If you want to take part in the quiz in my previous blog...read that one first...this one might ruin it for you.
Growing up, I always said that my 'type' of guy was big, tall and dark. I really truly believed this to be true.
One day...not long after I started dating Mark, my mom made an observation.
She noted that so far, the great "loves" or crushes in my life were all tall, blond and thin. Let me recap...try not to laugh.
That boy from 6th grade - tall, very thin and blond - blue eyes
That NKOTB - tallish, thinish and blond - blue eyes
The farmer - tall, thin, blond - blue eyes
I dated a couple of other guys that were tall and blond, thin with blue eyes too!
I only departed from this a couple of times and it wasn't worth it! Trust me...A Rod??? I mean..what was I thinking! LOL!
Well, my mom said it was my "Wesley Complex". She said I had fallen in love with the Farm Boy - Wesley (from Princess and the Bride) and didn't know it. I was subconsciously in love with the ideal he presented and it had been manifesting in my love life! LOL! We had a good laugh.
However, the LOVE OF MY LIFE is Mark Nordyke...
Blue eyes - check
Blond hair - check
Tall - check
Thin - check
Wears a mask - well, we can't have it all now can we!

I at first glance can think tall dark men are attractive - but BOY OH BOY if they are tall and blonde with blue eyes...I'm a sucker.
