Today, in my continuing attempt to organize and gain control of the office/sewing room organization, I was unpacking a box. I know! We moved in 5.5 months ago and there are still boxes to be unpacked. Anyway, this box, I was unpacking it. Nothing too exciting. Files, office supplies, the usual. I lifted off the last folder and what to my wondering eyes did appear? MY LABELER! I thought it was long gone. My heart skipped a beat. I immediately began creating categories and sub-categories and putting stuff away. It was awesome.
Because of that moment, I thought I would make a list of things that make my heart go pitter patter. Here goes.In no particular order:
1. Labels
2. Rubbermaid or any plastic container
3. Labels on plastic things
4. Color coding
5. Sharp pencils - there is nothing better to write with.
6. Alphabetizing
7. A clean garbage tote and recycle bins
8. Vacuum marks on the floor
9. Walking across the floor and not feeling crumbs or sand or cheerios.
10. Floating in the pool
11. High heels
12. Purses
13. PDAs
14. Google maps
15. Target
16. Ikea
17. Shelves
18. Stocked and organized pantry
19. Car washes (touch less)
20. Stacking things biggest to smallest
21. A sparkling clean tub full of hot water, bubbles and a glass of red wine and a book
22. Bins
23. Baskets
24. Pretty boxes
25. Did I mention labels????
Ok, so that is a pretty superficial list. It was just for fun. I am sure if I made a list of the important things that get me going, it would be better. I will think about that. Until then.
Something I don't like is that labeler is not a word and my spell check doesn't like it. Of course it is a word! Duh!
