Pony Tails. Where would we be without them? I know my neck would be really hot. But, what is it about them that make them so great? What is it about looking at this picture of my baby with her first pony and thinking she looks so grown up. Sometimes I look at an older girl with a pony and think how young and darling she looks.What is it I ask?
When I see a cheerleader with a pony and a big white (or any color) bow in her hair, something about her makes me want to take notice. It makes her look peppy. Yet, when I see a movie star with a sleek pony, she looks so glamorous.
I think we are all obsessed (secretly of course) with pony tails. I say this to make myself feel better about my obsession with them mostly. But, how many of you have done this????
You are sitting at the hair dresser's mirror. She is asking what you want to do. You tell here what you want and the last line is....."But I still want to be able to wear a pony tail. Don't deny it!!! You have done it and maybe more than once!
Is it because it is easy? Maybe. Or, is it because it is peppy, cute, maturing, takes years off, keeps you cool, looks beautiful and glamorous on any given day? GG looks like such a big girl. When Charli lets me put a pony in her hair, I love it because I feel like I am keeping her my "little girl" for the day.
Hair has trended through the ages. What is the constant? The pony tail. It may be straight back and high. It may be low with a section of hair wrapped around the rubber band. It may have bangs or sweeps or tendrils. It may have a poof. It may have curl. Whatever style you choose, a pony tail can be great for any occasion. I dare you to disagree....

You are SO right! I always tell the hair stylist "Leave the layers long enough for a pony." I would be lost without my scrunchies.
